How to Extend Pool Equipment Life
Pump, filter, heater, salt cell all have lifespans you can extend.
- Run VS pump at low speed 8-12 hours daily (not high speed all day)
- Clean filter on schedule
- Clean salt cell every 90 days
- Cover heater in winter
- Install equipment under shade or in enclosure
- Balance chemistry weekly (acid + alkaline shock destroys equipment)
