How to Lower Pool pH
Use muriatic acid (preferred) or dry acid (sodium bisulfate).
Amounts
1 quart muriatic acid per 10,000 gallons lowers pH by ~0.2.
Steps
- Run pump on high
- Add acid slowly at deepest end
- Wait 4 hours
- Re-test pH
