How to Raise Pool pH
Use soda ash (sodium carbonate) to raise pH.
Amounts
6 oz soda ash per 10,000 gallons raises pH by ~0.2.
Steps
- Run pump on high
- Pre-dissolve soda ash in 5-gallon bucket of water
- Pour around perimeter
- Wait 4 hours, re-test
